Kristen A Perry, BAdvSc Hons1 GCBiostat, is an Academic Medical Writer at Melanoma Institute Australia and The University of Sydney, who specialises in publishing investigator-initiated clinical trials in melanoma and other cancers with Prof Georgina V Long. With a background in scientific pathology, immunology, and cell biology at UNSW and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Ms Perry transitioned into a professional medical writing role in 2018, initially focused on clinical research and medical education in disease areas including oncology, rheumatology, neurology, infectious disease, and overweight/obesity and diabetes. Ms Perry joined MIA to specialise in skin cancer in 2022.
