Epigenetics and Immunotherapy

This project explores how epigenetic regulation shapes the response or resistance of melanoma to immunotherapy. By integrating multi-omic approaches, including ATAC-seq, histone modification profiling, ChIP-seq, CyTOF, and spatial biology, we investigate how tumour and immune cell states are governed by chromatin accessibility and histone modifications. Our goal is to identify key epigenetic drivers of treatment response, recurrence, and immune evasion. These insights will uncover new biomarkers and therapeutic opportunities, paving the way for strategies that target epigenetic mechanisms to overcome resistance and improve outcomes for melanoma patients.
