Single-cell and Spatial Transcriptomics

This project applies cutting-edge single-cell and spatial technologies to unravel the complexity of melanoma and its immune microenvironment. Using single-cell RNA sequencing, we profile thousands of individual tumour and immune cells to define their unique transcriptional states and interactions. In parallel, we employ high-resolution spatial platforms such as Xenium to map where these cells are located within the tumour architecture. Together, these approaches provide a powerful lens to understand how cellular heterogeneity and spatial organisation influence immunotherapy response and resistance, with the goal of identifying new biomarkers and therapeutic strategies.
