2025 Annual MIA Research Retreat

It was an incredibly inspiring day today at Melanoma Institute Australia's Research Retreat 2025 where our researchers, fellows and PhD students shared the latest updates on their melanoma research projects with the wider MIA team.

The insightful day, held at The Poche Centre, included over 40 presentations across our four research themes, plus updates on our National Nurse Program and Roadmap for a Targeted Skin Cancer Screening Program, and a talk on Health Economics.

The day also included a structured networking session, consumer reflection and lots of conversations.

Our annual Research Retreat provides the opportunity for understanding, collaborating and strategising, as we work together to reach our goal of “zero deaths from cancer”.
