Jane Tian
Research Assistant
Jane is a medical science graduate with research experience in cancer immunology. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the Australian National University, focusing on immunology, genetics, and oncology. During her Honours year, she joined the Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) and contributed to a collaborative research project at the University of Sydney. In this project, she applied single-cell RNA sequencing and ultra-high multiplexed immunofluorescence imaging, combined with advanced bioinformatics analysis, to investigate immune biomarkers associated with patient response to immune checkpoint inhibitors. Jane is currently working as a Research Assistant on digital imaging projects at MIA, where she supports the development and application of deep learning approaches to identify diagnostic markers from digitized whole-slide imaging.
